I Am Good.

I was planning a trip to San Antonio, Texas to check out a school that I saw online. It was called the David Pressely School Of Cosmetology. I have been thinking of going into the hair, nails, and makeup business. I was one of those girls who dreamed of going to Hollywood to work for the celebrities and make lots of money, but everyone has to start somewhere. I loved looking at beauty supplies from big suppliers. I want to someday open up my own shop and I was told that this school was also a very business oriented teaching school. They teach you how to run your own business while still doing hair and nails. I was very happy to think that I would be part of this wonderful school, if I got excepted. I was hoping that When I took my tour tomorrow that I would instantly know if this is where I belong or not. I want to be able to do the things that poway, gordon, and phillips had done. There was also an extension of the school in Virginia. I am very anxious to get started in my schooling. I am hoping that I will get excepted and then be able to find a nice apartment near by so that I did not have to live in the dorms. I mean lets face it this school is not a big school so how could the dorms be big enough for me. My dad is willing to pay for an apartment as long as I did well in school. I wanted to learn everything that I could. I not only wanted to do hair, but I wanted to do makeup and nails too. I want to be able to move to a large city and prosper with a ton of business. I want to have my own shop and hire people to work under me. The first day of school we got a very important assignment. They gave us a doll head with very long hair and a hand sticking up in the air. We were told to make her over without any training to see our natural talent and if we have the gift. I was very excited about this because I have done it on my barbies a million times. I decided to layer her hair, but keep the length and blonde color. For the makeup with the blonde hair the makeup would be light, but prominent. The nails would be a plum purple for the fall season. I am good. I love the David Pressley School Of Cosmetology.
